Users can import Parasolid exact geometry as a tessellated representation and leverage it in downstream processes, such as design review, digital mockup review, design in context, and manufacturing. The Parasolid exact geometry can also be migrated into an exact geometry representation, thus allowing users to leverage converted data within 3DEXPERIENCE applications for design, simulation and manufacturing activities. Parasolid files can be synchronously or asynchronously converted. The conversion from Parasolid to a 3DEXPERIENCE representation will be “as new” and stored as the new master data of the part and product. No link is maintained with the original Parasolid file.

• The supported Parasolid file types are “x_t” and “x_b”.

• Enables users to collaborate on Parasolid modeler files by importing them into the 3DEXPERIENCE platform. 

• Enables customers to migrate from Parasolid to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
